Description
For Acer Aspire 4720Z laptop, Acer has provided support for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Both Windows XP and Windows Vista only have the 32bit Windows supported while Windows 7 32bit and 64bit are both supported.

Acer cited Intel audio chipset driver for Aspire 4720Z here. I have double checked and seems like no error. Please report if you found problem installing the Intel sound driver on your Acer 4720Z.- Windows XP Audio

Acer Aspire 4720Z Windows 7 32bit and 64bit Driver
Seems that both Windows 7 32bit and 64bit are using the same driver.Also be noted that for Windows 7 driver, Acer cited [This page shows only drivers that are not contained in Windows 7.]. I guess if your Acer 4720Z Windows 7 audio driver is working, you might no need to update the driver. Anyway...
