Please confirm your eMachines T5010 is using the correct BIOS prior to download and install this driver. To check your BIOS version:
Steps to Check Your eMachines T5010 Bios Version
- Turn on the computer. On your keyboard, repeatedly press the F1 key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
- In the BIOS Setup Utility, on the Main tab, look for the BIOS version line. The version needs to be
SE91510J.xxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx or
AG91510J.xxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx
(where x = variable characters, identifying the version of BIOS currently loaded).

The BIOS prefix SE91510J (Luxemburg, South Lake, and South Lake 2 South Lake 3) or AG91510J (Augsburg) is constant and specifically identifies the correct motherboard.
- If the BIOS prefix is SE91510J or AG91510J, this is the correct audio driver for your computer. Press the F10 key to exit the BIOS Setup Utility.
Driver Installation Steps
- Download the file to the desktop.
- On the desktop, double-click the D00281-001-001.exe file. The needed files extract to the C:/Cabs/D00281-001-001 folder.
- From the Start menu, click Run.
- In the Run dialog box, type: C:/Cabs/D00281-001-001/Setup.exe. Click OK.
- In the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Setup dialog box, click Next.
- In the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Setup dialog box, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now, and then click Finish.
- The computer restarts.
- In the Attention dialog box, to restart the computer, click Yes.
