Description
This firmware for the Sony® DW-D22A DVD±RW optical drive will update the original firmware to firmware version BFS2 which improves the read and write capabilities of the drive.
Sony DW-D22A DVD±RW is used in Sony notebook model VGC-RB30.
To make sure no other program interfere with the firmware flash update process, close all open programs and antivirus. Make sure plug in power cord to wall outlet.
While flashing, DO NOT interrupt the update process as it may stop the flashing and render your DW-D22A DVD±RW optical drive useless. If not sure, refer to the readme help file for additional details.
