The software upgrade page listed instructions and supports for two versions of Microsoft Windows:
- Windows XP:
- COMPUTER
- Desktop/Laptop Computer Running Microsoft Windows XP (x32 versions of Home or Professional) w/Service Pack 2 (SP2)
- 200MB Open Hard Disk Space
- ActiveSync 4.5 Installed and Functioning Properly
- All Firewall & Anti-Virus Programs Should Be Disabled (See Article)
- Administrative Privileges Required To Download & Install Software
- One available USB Port:
Direct connection of the USB cable to the computer USB port is strongly advised. The use of a USB hub or docking station is NOT recommended.

Samsung Omnia i910 Driver Enhancement/Additions/Correction
This driver update is recommended to be installed. This upgrade includes numerous software additions/enhancements/corrections. The update may take up to 10 minutes to complete if the system is already set up.
- The latest Microsoft Adaptation Kit Upgrade (AKU 1.5.1) for Windows mobile is Included in this Update.

Upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. Samsung Omnia was syncing fine until the upgrade. WMDC states I’m connected, but ‘Sync failed – errors with desktop’ when attempting to sync… Any assistance will be greatly appreciated…
