You can download the so-called Host Based Protocol 32bit system driver (in EXE format) and install the driver following on screen instructions. Lexmark is kind enough to list down the estimated download time for different type of connections: Dialup, DSL, Cable and LAN. The driver file is self-extracted and once run it will start a Printer Wizard Information window and these instructions: On the screen where you are asked to identify the printer manufacturer and printer model, click Have Disk ...button. Int the Install From Disk dialog box,enter the following path and then click OK. C:/TEMP/LEXMARK_X215_XP03VISTA_X86_EN/ This path is also listed in the Copy manufacturers filesfrom. pulldown.
