This is the graphic driver for HP Pavilion 6683 PC. This driver has updated video support for Direct-X 7.0 Graphics Driver for Intel ® 810/810E/815/815E Chipsets and solved DirectX issues. This driver is not compatible with newer OS such as Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. I guess most probably the newer OS already got driver built in to support 6683 graphics.
Some basic installation guides and information realted to this graphic driver:
- The system must contain one of the following Intel chipsets:
- Intel(r) 810 Chipset
- Intel(r) 810E Chipset
- Intel(r) 815 Chipset
- Intel(r) 815E Chipset
- The kit software should be installed on systems with at least 32 MB of system memory.
- There should be sufficient hard disk space in the directory (typically C:\WINDOWS\TEMP) on the system, in order to install this software.
- The Microsoft Windows 95 INF files included with this distribution package are designed to function with the following versions of Microsoft Windows 95:
- Microsoft Windows 95 4.00.950B (OSR2.1 with USB Supplement)
- Microsoft Windows 95 4.00.950C (OSR2.5 with or without USB Supplement)
- The Microsoft Windows 98 INF files included with this distribution package are designed to function with the following version of Microsoft Windows 98:
