Anyway, to install this driver, first download the drive exe file. Then double click on the exe file and it will prompt to extract to C:/DELL/DRIVERS/R13450. Then see the following steps to continue:

Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 2000

  1. To install or update the driver, right click out in the desktop area and left click on PROPERTIES.
  2. Select the SETTINGS tab; then click on the ADVANCED button. Select the MONITOR tab, then PROPERTIES, DRIVER and UPDATE DRIVER. This will start the Driver wizard.
  3. Make sure \"Search for a suitable driver for my device\" is selected and then click NEXT. Select the floppy disk and click NEXT. Windows should identify a:/dellmon0.inf as the preferred driver.
  4. Click NEXT then FINISH to complete the driver installation. If a:/dellmon0.inf is not identified as the preferred driver, check the box to install one of the other drivers and install dellmon0.inf from the floppy disk.

Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 98

  • Windows 98 automatically detects the new monitor and displays the Add New Hardware Wizard dialog box if the drivers are not already installed.
  • Click the NEXT button to search for drivers. Check the diskette drive box to install the drivers from the diskette and click NEXT.
  • Confirm that Windows found the drivers on the diskette and click NEXT again to install the drivers.

    1. To manually install or update the driver, click the START button, point to SETTINGS, and click CONTROL PANEL.
    2. Then click the DISPLAY icon, click the ADVANCED tab, followed by the MONITOR tab. Click CHANGE to display the \"Update Device Driver Wizard\" dialog box.
    3. Click the NEXT button to search for drivers. Check the diskette drive box to install the drivers from the diskette and click NEXT. Confirm that Windows found the drivers on the diskette and click NEXT again to install the drivers.
