Description
ASUS A7V8X-X 1010 bios is a major patch because it solves problem for PS/2 keyboard sometimes become abnormal after entering Windows as well as offer more compatibility for Samsung M368L6423 / M368L3223 DRAM. Patch 1010 was released on 2004/04/02.
Not long after that, or the exact date was 2004/09/09, a latest stable patch was release. Patch 1013 (as discuss here) offer supports for new CPUs. Asus website refer to page http://www.asus.com.tw/support/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx in case we want to know what new CPUs supports are added. However, the link is broken so I tried to dig into the downloadable BIOS file itself to see if there is any indication.
The download BIOS file, A7v8xx13.zip contains one file, a7v8xx13.awd. a7v8xx13.awd is in the format of SFX LZH archive which further contains one file named: Group2.ROM, lets see what we got in the ROM file.
