Description

Although this USB driver allows communication between your Fujifilm digital camera and your computer, FujiFilm has mentioned that it is not necessary to use USB Drivers for Windows XP.

So I would suggest you to let Windows XP auto detect and install the USB driver for your FujiFilm FinePix 2650. If it failed to detect and install the driver only then you download and try the driver provided on this page.

Beside FinePix 2650, this Windows XP USB driver also supported wide range of FinePix digital camera, see the list below:

Easiest way is to use a card reader to transfer the images from xD-Picture Card to your PC.

What do you mean “card reader”? I am not familiar with this.

The xD-Picture Card is a type of flash memory card, used mainly in digital cameras. xD originally stood for extreme Digital.[1] The cards were developed by Olympus and Fujifilm, and introduced into the market in July 2002.

A memory card reader is a device used for communication between your PC with a flash memory card. In your case, an xD card. Above is a sample image of memory card reader. It is easily available on store and quite cheap. On many new notebooks there is a build in memory card reader installed but sadly not many support xD card.

Hope the information is useful. Please let me know if you need anything else.
