| Description | There are two revisions for DLink AirPlus DWL-G510 wireless PCI adapter, namely revision A and revision B. You need to identify the revision before download the driver because the driver is different for each revision of DWL-G510.
To identify your DLink AirPlus DWL-G510 revision, you can look at the label located on both the outer box, and on the adapter itself, usually attached to the bottom of DWL-G510 unit. See image below for example:
Driver for DLink DWL-G510 revision A was released on 2004 and supports Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Driver for the newer revision B supports up to Windows Vista and the last updated date was 2008. Since then no Windows 7 driver has been released, I believe this is because DLink DWL-G510 has reached its End of Life cycle as of October 01, 2007 in the US, thus no more new drivers. |
