Panasonic DMC-FZ7 is the successor to the hugely popular FZ5 model. See below for the enhancements/improvements for FZ7 over FZ5:

Lumix FZ7 is also noticeably heavier than FZ5 by 20g (310g vs 290g, no battery). However according to some reviews on the Internet, FZ7 has more noise compare to FZ5 and the extra megapixel does not show in real world application.

The 132-pages user manual is meant for America, Puerto Rico and Canada users so if your DMZ-FZ5 is bought from other area you might find some minor differences in the manual.
