Actually Dell do provide the software driver for their Dell 1521 Inspiron Laptop. Normal user might not able to find the driver that they need immediately through normal search engine because they might be using the wrong search phrase. Hence, the driver that we provide here is actually from Dell website itself.

According to Dell, this version of software driver provides support for 1395 card.

Below is a simple guideline on driver installation:

1. Download Dell_multi-device_A17_R174291.exe file.
2. Double click on the Dell_multi-device_A17_R174291.exe file to begin installation.
3. Installation starts with a list of compatible systems. You may find the detail list above. Click [Continue] button to continue.
4. Then you will be prompted to unzip the required installation files. By default, the folder will be C:\dell\drivers\R174291. You may change it if you desire.
5. After that, the required files will be automatically unzip, and actual installation of the driver will be started automatically.
6. Follow on screen instruction to complete the installation.
7. Kindly note that if the installation detects your system is not listed above or your operating system is not XP, the installation will be aborted.
