Canon does not provide Mac OS driver for Canon Pixma MP240. What they offer is only driver for Mac OS X 10.2 and above. This Canon PIXMA MP240 Photo All-In-One Printer is one of the Generation Green printer which is Eco-friendly by having 4 in 1, 2 in 1 Printing. It is also design to be able to start up quickly and use less energy.

To download the driver, you have to select your desired OS from the Canon website, and choose mp240sosxcp102600ea8-2.dmg file for download. Procedures for the download and installation from Canon website.

  • 1. Click the link. The download will start automatically.
  • 2. Files will be saved on the computer desktop.
  • 3. Double-click the file to mount the Disk Image.
  • 4. Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
  • 5. Double-click the .pkg file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
