Before this some one claimed that you can use the Windows 2000 driver but some others are having problem with this alternative solution. Anyhow since the official Windows 7 driver is here, your problem should be gone now.
The version of this SCSI driver is 7.5.645.100 and works in 32-bit of Windows 7 and 2008R2. This driver only work for 32bit Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008R2. This SCSI Windows 7 driver update applies to the following range of Adaptec products:
