Description

FirePro_8.583_Vista64_77160.exe is a software driver package for ATI FireGL V3100 and many other ATI FireGL products. This package contains Display Driver and also ATI Catalyst Control Center HDMI Audio Driver.

I found that the release notes of this software driver package only stated that the following Windows Operating systems are supported:

  1. Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit versions)
  2. Windows XP
  3. Windows XP Professionsl x64 Edition
However, from the AMD Support and Driver page, when you search or filter the driver for download , the return result of Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit versions) is also the same version of software driver package.

If you search this driver from the internet, you might also find that Dell website also provide the driver for this display card. The reason is that Dell uses this display card for some of the Precision model workstation. Hence, if the following is your workstation model, then the software driver should be from Dell instead of AMD webiste. The reason is that Dell might have done some customisatin and AMD is not aware of it.
