Description

Something is wrong in TRENDnet driver download site regarding its Fast Ethernet Adapter TU-ET100 plus. The driver is wrongly categorized in USB/Memory Readers category instead of adapters.

Fortunately with a little bit of googling I have found the problem and get to the correct driver.

Anyway, please follow these steps to install USB 10/100 Ethernet Adapters driver:

Driver Installation

1. Download the driver zip file Driver_TUET100plus.zip and extract the content files to a temporary folder e.g. c:/trendnet/.
2. Start your PC, then insert the TU-ET100 plus USB Ethernet Adapter into an available USB port in your PC .
3. After starting Windows XP, the USB will be detected automatically then the Found New Hardware Wizard window appears.
4. Browse to the folder where you have extracted Driver_TUET100plus.zip e.g. c:/trendnet/.

   For Windows XP please select c:/trendnet/WINXP/USB100.INF

   For others, please select c:/trendnet/USB100.INF

5. Click the Next button in the Install Hardware Device Drivers window.
6. Click Continue Anyway button, then the Windows XP starts to copy the driver to the users hard disk.
7. Click Finish button to complete the driver installation.
