TravelMate 2423 BIOS Installation Under DOS

1. Plug in the AC adapter. This is to ensure your TravelMate does not switch off during the BIOS installation.
2. Boot to pure DOS. Refer to DOS manual or ask a friend who has experience to help. However do not blame him if this doea not work.
3. It is better not to load HIMEM.sys (bypass CONFIG.sys).
4. To flash the BIOS by Phoenix flash utility, use *.wph ROM file to update the BIOS via the following command: AG1A106(batch file) or type [AG1A106.bat] to start the BIOS installation.

TravelMate 2423 BIOS Installation Under Windows (Preferred)

1. Download the BIOS file travelmate-2420-2423-bios.zip and unzip to a temporary folder.
2. Go to the folder and run AG1A106.bat batch file within folder under Windows mode to update this bios.
3. Do not switch off or restart until you are told to do so.
