Description

This driver utility updates the LAN-Express IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN Adapter driver to improve connectivity with a Wireless Access Point.

Sony PCG-K23 Wireless Driver Installation Instructions

1. Download the LA-911540802FG04US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double click the LA-911540802FG04US.EXE file to begin the installation.
3. At the LAN-Express Wireless LAN Adapter Driver Update for Microsoft Windows XP screen, click Next.
4. At the License Agreement screen, read the agreement and then, if you agree, click I Agree.
5. At the Uninstall Current Wireless LAN Driver box, click OK.
6. At the InstallShield Wizard-Modify, repair, or remove the program box, select Remove and then click Next.
7. At the Confirm Uninstall box, click OK.
8. At the Maintenance Complete box, click Finish to restart computer.
9. After the computer restarts, the Wireless LAN driver update will automatically launch.
10. At the Finished box, click Finish.
11. At the Install box, click OK to restart computer again.
12. The installation of the LAN-Express IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN Adapter driver update is complete.

Reconnect to Wireless Network Instructions

1. At the Windows Desktop, click Start and then click Control Panel.
2. At the Control Panel window, click Network and Internet Connection Panel icon.
3. At the Network and Control Panel window, under or click a control panel icon, click Network Connections.
4. At the Network Connections window, click the disconnected Wireless connection icon.
5. Select the Wireless Network.
6. Type in the Network Key and then click Connect.
7. The Wireless network should now be reconnected.
