Below is the guideline on how to perform BIOS update for your Lenovo IdeaPad Z460 Notebook.
- If your computer are turn on now, please restart it. This is to ensure that the system is fresh from any pending reboot due to any previous software or hardware update.
- After the restart, double click on NIWEx215_X32.exe.
- Click Install.
- Choose Click Flash BIOS.
- Press Enter to start flashing.
- When the update finishes, the computer will automatically reboot for the changes to take effect.
- During the update, please enter the BIOS menu.
- Choose Load default setting and save then exit from the BIOS menu.
- After you have enter the Windows, please shut down the computer totally, and after that you may start again your notebook.
Kindly note that, if you are not familiar on flashing your BIOS, please do not do so, as improper update might pose a risk that your notebook is not able to be boot up after the update. |
