Description

This Aten UC232A Windows XP driver is needed for the USB to Serial function to work in Windows XP and 2000.

Once installed, few drivers will be copied to your PC.

1. ATEN USB to Serial Bridge
2. ATEN USB to Serial port driver
3. Serenum Filter Driver

You will find three files once extracted UC-232A_winxp.zip. The SER2PL.INF file is meant for Windows 2000 and was dated back to year 2003. The other two driver files also dated back in year 2003.

Driver Installation Instructions

1. Download the driver file UC-232A_winxp.zip and extract to a temporary folder e.g. c:/aten/
2. Plug in your Aten UC232A and Windows XP will ask for the driver.
3. Browse to c:/aten/ and select SER2PL.INF
4. Windows XP will begin to copy the driver files and once completed, please restart yout PC and your Aten UC-232A should be working now.
