Description
Aiptek DV6800 driver is a rar compressed file. Once downloaded the rar file, open the rar file (presume you have installed WinRAR or other programs supporting rar file). Open folder [disk1] and run setup.exe and the installation will start automatically.
Aiptek did not mention much information about the driver for its DV6800 digital video camera. However, from the file name dv6800_v1.0_pc_driver.rar, I presume it is version 1.0 and I have tried install the driver on Windows XP successfully.
From the PC Camera.ini, it shows:
[CAPTURE_DEVICE]
Video=DV 6800(Video)
Audio=USB Audio Device
Product=DV 6800
so we know the driver will install video driver for Aiptek DV6800 as well as USB audio device driver.
However after the driver installation complete it will ask you either to install Windows Media Player Codec. If your codec is newer than version 8, you may not want to install this older version codec as it may caused instability.

hi i have an aiptek camera dv 6800s.i attempted to format the drive disk and when connecting via usb cable into my computer i can’t see pics no more that are obviously in but they do not appear once the camera is plugged in ? Please can you help me
repair that mistake .
