The installation for Mustek BearPaw 1200TA Scanner is similar to Mustek 1200 UB Plus Driver installation.
Do not plug in the USB cable first. Install the driver, then restart the PC. Only then plug in the USB cable. Do not plug the USB cable into the front USB ports, as they are usually USB hubs so sometimes the systems might not see them. You need to install both twain drivers and the generic scanning module for the Mustek BearPaw 1200TA to work. As for the Windows Vista driver, for the moment still no news. Hope Mustek can release them as more and more users are migrating or upgrading to Windows Vista. Alternatively, you can try the Free Driver Scanner. |
