Description
To download the correct driver, we must first know what hardware is used in a pc/notebook. Below is the specification for Toshiba NB250 notebook. Please note there are two Short Part Number (PLL2PE, PLL2XE) for NB250, so your hardware may not be the same:

NB250 was originally pre-installed with Windows 7 starter edition. From the list of driver available on Toshiba site, I can see drivers for Windows XP, Windows 7 and just one or two for Windows Vista, so I think you better stay with Windows 7 or XP for full driver compatibility. Also the Intel® Atom™ processor N455 use maybe not up to the job of newer OS such as Windows 8 or Windows 10. But no harm trying, just remember to make a backup.
Toshiba NB250 is now listed as discontinued product under Toshiba website, so you might want to download and keep a copy of all the drivers needed, before any changes on Toshiba website. I have seen many cases where structure of website changed making driver download difficult, or sometimes manufacturers even taking down the end-of-life product driver download,
