Description

The DiMAGE Scan Dual IV Scanner driver is available for both Windows and Mac systems. Main enhancement is corrected the problem that Auto Dust Brush fails to work against scanned images of 16-bit color depth.

Windows Driver Installation Steps

1. Download the zipped driver file
2. If the previous version is pre-existing:
   1. Select Remove DiMAGE Scan Dual4 from the DiMAGE Scan Dual4 ver.1.0 folder in the program option of the start menu.

      Simply follow the instructions in the windows to complete uninstallation.

   2. Double-click on Setup.exe. The installer program starts installation.
3. If the driver software is newly installed:

   Double-click on Setup.exe. The installer program starts installation.

4. Refer to the installation instruction in the instruction manual to complete.
5. Auto Dust Brush Plug-in Installation.
6. If the previous version is pre-existing:
   1. Double-click on ADBSetup.exe.
   2. Simply follow the instructions in the windows to complete uninstallation.
   3. Double-click on ADBSetup.exe again.The installer program starts installation.
7. If the Auto Dust Brush Plug-in is newly installed:
   1. Double-click on ADBSetup.exe. The installer program starts installation.
   2. Refer to the Auto Dust Brush Plug-in installation instruction in the instruction manual to complete.
8. When installing Auto Dust Plug-in in Adobe Photoshop CS2, the [Unable to find Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. … continue the installation?] message appears.

   Click on Yes to continue. As the folder selection window opens, specify Plug-ins folder of Adobe Photoshop CS2.
