There are three J4 models (Green or G730, G731 and G732) by WinBook. All of these J4 models are using different hardware thus you will need to install different drivers too. To identify your WinBook J4 models, you just have to look at the label on the bottom of your WinBook.
From WinBook J4 G731 driver download page, you will see that only Windows XP is supported and for Windows 2000, there is a link to [unsupported.htm]. All drivers are dated back to year 2002. You will see the drivers support for the following components:
As for USB2.0 support, I have download and read WinBook J4 user manual. You can download it here. Referring to page 68 on USB Ports, seems that WinBook J4 notebooks are equipped with four USB1.1 USB ports. No mentioned of USB 2.0 supports.
For faster data transfer rate, you may want to consider using the 400 Mbps firewire IEEE 1394 port, as compare to USB 1.1 12 Mbps in which the Firewire connection data transfer rate is is 33 times faster. Alternatively, you can try the Free Driver Scanner.
