On VIA driver download site, there is only one driver available for VIA 3058 AC97 and it is for Windows CE. (link). The driver is for VIA AC97 codec incorporated into VT82C686A/B South Bridges ( VT82C686A VT82C686B ) and VIA AC97 codec incorporated into VT8231 South Bridge ( VT8231 ).
The 3058 AC97 sound chipset you have actually is from Realtek, the OEM/general supplier for AC97 sound chips used by many motherboard brands. So you can just try their AC97 driver for your VIA AC97 3058 sound chips instead.
