Prior to install the latest version of WHQL Certified driver for your US Robotics 5610B 56K modem, you may want to make sure that you have the latest firmware installed for the modem.
- Download the file to a temporary location on your computer hard disk drive.
- Double-click the file in Windows Explorer and extract contents to a temporary folder.
- When prompted by Windows, direct the installation to the temporary folder.
Three files are included in the modem driver: USR5610.INF, 5610x64.cat (for 64-bit OS) and 5610x86.cat (for X86 processors OS). Simple and sweet.
