TEAC DV-W28EA is a 1/2 inch height DVD super multi drive for notebook users. As of time of writing (21 May 2007), no new firmware update or driver available for download in TEAC Japan website.
Since TEAC DV-W28E has a standard ATAPI interface, means that it will work out of the box with Windows 95/98/2000/XP and Vista. No driver is needed. So if you are having problem with your TEAC DV-W28EA, most probably such as problem unable to see the drive in Windows explorer, you can try the following method. Try unistall the IDE channel in Device manager, this one that the TEAC DVW28EA drive is using and reboot. No drivers are necessary. Alternatively, you can try the Free Driver Scanner. |
