This the the firmware update for Matshita UJDA-750 from Sony Vaio site. As always, make backup of your important files before attempt to install any new updates.
As the firmware upgrade utility starts, it will try to detect the model of DVD/CD-RW drive of your system. It will prompt \"F/W Loader does not apply to the DVD/CD-RW drive that you are using. Press [EXIT] to continue\" if you tried to install on models other than Matshita UJDA-750. So I guess it is pretty safe for you to try on this firmware driver update even if your Matshita UJDA-750 is not from Sony Vaio. Alternatively, you can try the Free Driver Scanner.

Will this cure the problem of Windows Media Player 11’s recognizing the hardware but inability to connect and use it? WMP detects it but says i need to connect a burner and restart when i actually want to burn a playlist.
