This new firmware will help your Liteon LH-20A1S DVD RW drives to match more media, thus improve reading and writing to more different brands and grades of DVDR and DVDRW media.
The firmware driver is in zipped format. Inside the zip file there is a single EXE file: 9L08.exe. Please double click to run it. There is less change of wrongly update your DVD drive firmware as this firmware installer will first try to detect your existing drives before continue with flashing new firmware.
If no Liteon LH-20A1S drives are found, an error message will prompted saying [No matched drive detected! This utility is only for LITE-ON DVDRW LH-20A1S drive] and then shows whatever drivers it has detected. Thus no way of error updating firmware here.
