Description:

ESS ES1938S Driver Installation

  1. Download ES1938_1946_XP3055_sign584162.zip to your local PC and extract to a temporary folder e.g. c:/ess/
  2. Save the 3 unzipped files to the same folder e.g. c:/ess/
  3. Close all open applications and open Device Manager.
  4. Click on Start -> Control Panel. Click on Performance and Maintenance -> System.
  5. Click on Device Manager on the Hardware tab.
  6. Expand the device list if necessary, find your sound chipset, and double-click on its listing.
  7. In Properties, click on Update Driver.
  8. Browse to the folder containing the unzipped ES1938_1946_XP3055_sign584162.zip files, e.g. c:/ess/
  9. Follow the prompts to update the driver.
  10. When driver installation is complete, close everything back to the Desktop and reboot.
