ESS ES1938S Driver Installation
- Download ES1938_1946_XP3055_sign584162.zip to your local PC and extract to a temporary folder e.g. c:/ess/
- Save the 3 unzipped files to the same folder e.g. c:/ess/
- Close all open applications and open Device Manager.
- Click on Start -> Control Panel. Click on Performance and Maintenance -> System.
- Click on Device Manager on the Hardware tab.
- Expand the device list if necessary, find your sound chipset, and double-click on its listing.
- In Properties, click on Update Driver.
- Browse to the folder containing the unzipped ES1938_1946_XP3055_sign584162.zip files, e.g. c:/ess/
- Follow the prompts to update the driver.
- When driver installation is complete, close everything back to the Desktop and reboot.
