If you search on Gateway driver download page for Gateway MC7801U webcam, you will naturally using [MC7801U] as a keyword to look for the drivers right? Well, that was what I did at first, which unfortunately did not have any drivers for webcam. Here is the link just in case you want to have a look. Out of 20 files found and no single trace of webcam driver.
Then I proceed to work the other way round. I tried to look for all the webcam drivers, which will show what system/series/models are supported by the particular webcam. So now 144 files found. Anyway, back to the Gateway MC7801U webcam driver. Only Windows 7 (32bit and 64bit) drivers supported by the time being.
