    When I click on the Download Canon iP 1000 Printer Driver I get taken to another site where I must pay to get downloads. I use Firefox, is this a problem ? All I would like is to download the Driver Free as advertised.

    Hi Alex,

    The site you mentioned is Rapidshare which I have absolutely no affiliate relation with. You can click on the Free User button to download the driver.

    After you click on the Free User button, you will be then taken to a screen with the following text:

    You are not a Premium User and have to wait. Please notice that only Premium Users will get full download speed.

    So please wait for the timer to counting down and you will be able to download free.

    It is a bit troublesome but Rapidshare does provide bandwidth for me to share the driver files for free. Without Rapidshare my website hosting company will be very mad of me because of the huge bandwidth used by driver files download. Hope you understand.

    If you have any problems please do not hesitate to comment it here. I will see what I can do..
